I was diagnosed w/ HypER Thyroidism (Grave's Disease) about 12 years ago, in 1994. I took the prescription for about 1-1/2 years, with not much success. The specialist told me I would have to either have my thyroid removed or take a radioactive pill. (ugh!) I did some research & discovered that the plant Lycopus Americanas (commonly known as Bugleweed) also can be used to help the thyroid which is overactive. It just so happened that my friend & I found some on the land we were living on in wisconsin. I made some tincture out of it & started taking it, and after about 6 months, my thyroid returned to normal, where it has remained ever since. If anyone is interested in having some of the tincture, you may email me & i will send you some free of charge. (you pay for postage & container.) I have no need to profit from this, it just seems a waste to have it & not use it. i'd like to help anybody in need, i know it's a scarey position to be in when you're diagnosed w/ a disease which can be deadly.
