I wonder what effect your family has on your ability to enjoy chocolate or wine? I usually feel a bit guilty when I indulge, mostly because I don't want to gain weight. That definitely detracts from my enjoyment.

In response to the pleasure principle posted by LauriePK:
Hi Laurie,
I think our families influence us a great deal. I used to feel guilty especially when my husband commented, but now that there's been so much information about the benefits of wine and chocolate he doesn't say as much. Consequently, I don't have to sneak my chocolate fix. Best,Elaine
