i hear about normal life and it amazes me i use to get episodes and now for the last 6 months straight it been fever and constant pain i feel like im losing it please talk to me

Dear Elizabeth,
I'm so sorry you're going through a bad time. Within the last few years several new medications have emerged. You might want to let your doctor know how miserable you are and see if he can prescribe something new to relieve your pain and fever. With fever it's always important to look for an associated infection. Sometimes it seems like there's no solution, but you might be surprised if you call your doctor's office. Thanks so much for the support. I am going to the doctor the 14th have not been seen in quite some time. usually i able to get out of this but this time around it been getting the best of me.as a child i spent 7 year in a wheelchair with jra, I will tell that doctor that i have been having high temps for well over a month and serve bone pain and im beside myself as what would stop this craziness. thanks so much

Hi Liz,
I'm glad to hear you'll be seeing your doctor this week.
The prognosis for both lupus and juvenile arthritis is much better than it was only a few years ago. There are lots of new meds and new information showing the importance of diet and lifestyle for healing.
Living with a chronic disease can be stressful and this can also affect your health. You might want to read this blog I just finished on reducing the effects of stress in lupus, Stress and Lupus. Hope your appointment goes well, Elaine
