I'm so sorry you're going through a bad time. Within the last few years several new medications have emerged. You might want to let your doctor know how miserable you are and see if he can prescribe something new to relieve your pain and fever. With fever it's always important to look for an associated infection. Sometimes it seems like there's no solution, but you might be surprised if you call your doctor's office.
