My Endocrinologist said that its detremental to my health to do excercise (except for walking) with Graves' Disease. Is this accurate?

Hi,
It depends on how long since you've been diagnosed.
If you're on meds and your FT4 and FT3 levels are in control and your heart rate is in the normal range, exercise is generally ok although you'd want to avoid anything too strenuous.
If you've just been recently diagnosed and your levels are unstable and your heart rate is high, then you'd want to wait until your levels are in range.
Best, Elaine
